The Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) is the premier and nationally recognised association representing the interests of the air cargo industry in India. Since its establishment in 1970 with just 16 founding members, ACAAI has grown into a strong and influential industry body with nearly 600 members across the country.

With its Head Office in Mumbai and a wide regional presence covering New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Kerala (Trivandrum and Cochin), Ahmedabad and Hyderabad, ACAAI maintains a strong connection with air cargo professionals and stakeholders across India’s major cargo centres.

Over the decades, ACAAI has emerged as an important bridge between the air cargo fraternity and key government and industry stakeholders. The Association works closely with Government ministries and departments, airlines, airport operators, freight forwarders, customs brokers, bonded truckers and other logistics stakeholders to address industry concerns, promote best practices and support the continued development of India’s air cargo ecosystem.

At the international level, ACAAI maintains active engagement with leading global and regional organisations, including IATA, FIATA and FAPAA, enabling the Association and its members to remain connected with international developments, standards and emerging opportunities in the air cargo and logistics sector.

Representing and Empowering the Air Cargo Community

ACAAI is committed to safeguarding and promoting the legitimate interests of its members while contributing to the overall advancement of the air cargo industry. The Association provides its members with professional assistance, guidance, industry representation and a platform for addressing matters of common concern.

Through continuous dialogue with regulators, government authorities and industry partners, ACAAI works towards creating a more efficient, transparent and business-friendly operating environment for the air cargo community. It actively raises issues affecting its members, facilitates the exchange of knowledge and encourages collaboration among stakeholders across the value chain.

The Association also plays an important role in keeping its members informed about regulatory developments, operational challenges, policy changes and emerging trends that have an impact on the air cargo business.

Driving India’s Air Cargo Growth

As India strengthens its position as a global manufacturing, trading and logistics hub, the air cargo sector has a critical role to play in enabling faster and more efficient movement of high-value, time-sensitive and critical goods.

ACAAI strives to facilitate the growth, efficiency and smooth functioning of India’s air cargo industry by bringing together stakeholders, encouraging collaboration and advocating policies that support sustainable industry development.

With its extensive membership base, nationwide presence and strong relationships with government and industry stakeholders, ACAAI continues to serve as a collective voice of India’s air cargo fraternity. Its efforts contribute not only to the interests of its members but also to the broader objective of strengthening India’s logistics infrastructure, enhancing trade competitiveness and supporting the country’s ambitious export growth targets.

For more than five decades, ACAAI has remained committed to its role as a trusted industry representative - connecting stakeholders, addressing challenges and helping shape the future of India’s air cargo and logistics ecosystem.
