The Air Cargo Agents Association of India – ACAAI welcomes the launch of VEGA (Vision for Expeditious Goods Release on Arrival) by Hon’ble Minister of Finance Smt Nirmala Sitharaman ji. Such Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) initiative by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) will improve upon India’s global ranking in the Logistics Performance Index being measured by World Bank. Many more such steps, taken in future, will take us to the top level. Over and above all, it will help all of us achieve the dream target of handling 10 million metric tonnes of cargo by the year 2030, given by our beloved and most respected Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi ji.
We truly appreciate and will continue to support the Government of India in introducing such EXIM trade friendly initiatives.
