The Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) is the only National Association representing the Air Cargo Industry in India. Formed in 1970 with only 16 members, it now has a strength of approximately 278 Active Members, 298 Associate Members, 42 Allied Members (including Airlines & GSAs) and 9 Commercial Members. Besides safeguarding the interests of its members and promoting fellowship among them, it provides professional assistance and guidance not only to its members but also to various Central and State Government departments/authorities connected with the industry.
ACAAI is also affiliated to international bodies such as IATA, FIATA, FAPAA, and are actively involved in all activities of the International Cargo Agents feternity. ACAAI also coordinates with other National Associations such as FFFAI, BCHAA, FIEO, and AMTOI on common issues and is a member of Central Employers organisations such CII, ASSOCHAM & Indian Merchants Chamber, Mumbai.
ACAAI organizes a convention every year, where Air Cargo Agents and Airline Representatives, Government Agencies assembles in large numbers for 3 days and eminent speakers on various subjects connected with Air Cargo Trade makes presentations, followed by lively question and answer sessions. Collective 7 decisions, which are based on consensus, are taken in the Business Sessions. These sessions serve the purpose of providing retraining/refresher programmes for our members. Further the Conventions provide an ideal platform to network, connect and build business relations for the future.
