The business of the Association is conducted by the Managing Committee having 11 duly elected members, including 4 office bearers - President, Vice-President, Honorary Secretary General and Honorary Treasurer.
To resolve problems of a local and regional nature, the Association works through its Regional Committees at Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore & Kerala and three Sub-Regional Committees at Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Coimbatore/Tirupur.
The Managing Committee meets once in every quarter and the Regional & Sub-Regional Committees meet once every month. The ACAAI HQs and Secretariat is located at Mumbai.
ACAAI's Annual Conventions are regarded as the single most important Conference of the air cargo industry in India. Delegates invariably include senior officials from all segments of the industry and Government departments, the Airport Authorities and Customs. Delegates and speakers are drawn from all over the country as also from overseas. ACAAI Conventions are held each year at emerging commercial centers in India. Deliberations focus on a theme that encompasses the most significant and serious issues facing the air cargo industry.
During the last two years the conventions were held in Amritsar 2011 & Bangalore 2010.
